Detroit Book City is a small, black-owned independent Travel/Pop-up Bookstore that specialize & market primarily African American books, media & events for the family. We carry new and gently used adult and children books i.e. self-help, black-consciousness, spiritual, how-to's, urban-fiction, memoirs, biographies & much more!!! We also sell books written by local and national Indie Authors and rare, hard to find or out-of-print African-American books. We also sell CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, Art Canvas, Art Prints, Wall Art, Candles, Tote Bags, Puzzles, Mugs, African Body Oils, Drinkware. Coffee and Games, plus rare hard-to-find and out-of-print African-American books.
Since our inception January 2016, Detroit Book City has become an important resource for Black Indie Authors who are searching for platforms to promote and sell their books. Detroit Book City can help you to reach avid readers across the country that's searching for African-American written adult and children books.
