Detroit Book City's JUNETEENTH: Books, Music & Art Fair 2017

Univ of Detroit Mercy ~ Fountain Lounge, 4001 W. McNichols Rd, Detroit

JUNETEENTH Celebration featuring 75 talented Black Book Authors of children and adult books, local music artists, and visual artist & artisans selling their goods. Spectators greet these talents, buy their "discount" items and enjoy family, fun entertainment.

Book fair hosted at the Matrix Center location! Families are offered high quality new/used, affordable books at up to 50% OFF that makes reading fun.

An exciting one-day event is designed to preserve literacy in our community – at the family level.  Enjoy a winter afternoon with 50 talented, local Black Authors of adult & children books. You will meet author,  buy your "discount" autographed books and enjoy a host of family, fun entertainment!!  In celebration of Black History Month, the family will enjoy a walk-thru photo exhibition of past Black Inventors who helped shape America.
